Tuesday 21st and 28th of May a Rosary will be recited at the grotto opposite the church at 7.30pm. If the weather is in-clement it will be recited in the church.


A "Reunion" night is taking place in Ballina on Saturday 25th May with the Leeds CCE, 50th anniversary! Venue: Stephenites GAA Club, Ballina. €10 adults, €5 under 16s, family ticket €25.


Roscommon Leader Partnership, the Dept. of Communications, Climate Action and Environment and Ward Agricultural Consultants Ltd are holding a Digital Skills for Citizens course in May/June ‘19. Many thanks to those who took part in the annual Famine Walk. Thanks are also due to members of the Attymass CE and RSS schemes for their maintenance of the pathway the walk follows.


As a Parish we extend our best wishes and congratulations to Jack Gallagher, Courtney Humphreys, Sophie McDonagh -Roche, Shauna Ruane and Breena Walsh who have made their First Holy Communion today (Sunday). The Irish Church Music Association are celebrating their 50th Summer School from the 2nd—5th July 017083478. The Diocesan pilgrimage to Knock takes place today, 19th May. Starts at 2.30pm with Anointing of the Sick. This year Achonry diocese is joined with Clonfert and Galway Dioceses.


A Waste Management Workshop for individuals and community groups is to be held in Ballina on Monday 20th May. The event is free. Please see notice board for details or phone 087 2135960.


A Public Meeting to discuss the future of the Attymass COMMUNITY WEBSITE to be held on Tuesday 28th May at 8.30pm at the Attymass Community Centre. All are welcome to attend.


Ladies group continue to meet on Monday evenings at 8pm in Community Centre! New members most welcome.


Walking has resumed every Tuesday evening at 8pm for the summer months!


Thanks to all who contributed and took part in our fundraising over the Mayo Weekend. The money raised from the fun run, quiz night and church gate collection has allowed us to purchase a new defibrillator which is now in place at Byhalla. Please note the defibrillator at Currower is removed at the moment for essential maintenance. Please see the notice board for defibrillator locations.






The Parish of Attymass is no longer able to process Family Tree research requests due to EU Legislation; the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which was introduced on 25th May 2018. These regulations also apply to newsletter items. We are happy to include a notice in our Parish Bulletin but you must ensure that you have received the consent of any persons referenced before submission.
